Which free agent would you like to see the sharks pick up or who would you like to see the sharks trade for.
I think the sharks should have got another big foward to put on Joe's line so the oposing team would stop double teaming him. I thot they could of gotten Ryan Smith or even defenseman Matt Schnierder.
Post what you think.

I was really puzzled when the Sharks remained very inactive during the free agent market because I really didn't think this team, as it is built, could really do much more than it already has. Also add to the fact that Scott Hannan leaving for Colorado.
I thought they were definitely in the running for Chris Drury, but it seems as though New York had more money to throw at him. I thought that the friendship with him and Mike Grier would have attracted him to San Jose. I was also pining for Sheldon Souray knowing that most of the top defensemen would be gone to different destinations.
The Sharks, including general manager Doug Wilson, have said they aren't finished, but it sure seems like there may not be many moves left. This is a good hockey team, but they weren't at Anaheim's level last season and Anaheim got better this offseason. Where does that leave the Sharks? Is Tampa Bay looking to unload some of their forwards? I thought the trade that sent Vesa Toskala to Toronto netted us no immediate help. I don't see any big moves on the horizon, though. I think this team is what we're going to see in the regular season.

Well speaking of the Lightining weren't they looking to trade away St.Louis or Richards?? The sharks losing Hannah wasnt much of a loss to them in my eyes. Seemed like every time i saw him play he would either make some bonehead mistake, like clearing the puck right up the middle for Matthieu Schnieder to blast into the back of the net in the playoffs last year, and he also didnt produce that much offensively.
And the trading of Toskala to Toronto I feel was a big mistake. Toskala is a top tier goalie that many teams were looking for this offseason, Coyotes, Detroit, Boston and more. I woulda traded Toskala for Holmstrom. Not shure if detroit would have though. I just feel like they could have got more than another rookie, they already got alot of those.
