i think everyone deserves to take a rest after a long full day at work. work is tiring and i definitely want to rest for a bit when i get back home from work too! take care

That sounds fair. However, I have known a number of couples where the man says something like this when he gets home and he still expected his partner to prepare the meals, look after the kids etc while he relaxed. In some of these cases the wife also had a full time job in some she was a housewife. The reason I mention this is that there is always a context that the people who read discussions don't see.
