i've read in the newspaper that there's a tropical storm over the pacific ocean and its international codename is "usagi"! LOL and its likely to move towards japan!
I really find this amusing because "usagi" is the name of one of my favorite anime characters which is usagi tsukino from the anime sailormoon! its really cute to have a storm and call it by your favorite character's name! ^__^;; like, we can say, usagi is here! LOL

I have heard the news that "usagi" will move towards Japan.Maybe it is a sign to permit that SailorMoon will be hot again^_^

LOL i think usagi didnt really hit the country. i think she went straight home to japan. ^__^
usagi is one of my favorite anime characters too! she's my number one favorite in fact. ^__^

I had that obsession then. I mellowed down when I started working. ^__^ but she's still my number one and I still collect sailormoon stuffs. ^__^

I think that tge name goes well with a storm lol. Usagi can be a storm sometimes lol But it,s funny because we are only use to that name in sailormoon, so to hear that it,s gonna be the name of a storm, it'S KINDA WIERD :p

usagi can be a storm alright. and her room can be really a mess like a storm just passed by. LOL its really weird and its funny at the same time. but I was so amused that's why I posted the news here. ^__^ I guess we'll all be remembering sailormoon together. LOL

If I remember correctly, Usagi also means rabbit in Japanese, right? BTW - I also loved Sailor Moon when I was younger.
I always find it odd when they use cute names for storms. You would think a dangerous storm would have a tougher name.

yeah. usagi means rabbit in japanese. and usagi tsukino means rabbit on the moon. LOL could you tell I'm a sailormoon fanatic? ^__^;;
it really is funny. why would they name a storm like a rabbit? LOL here in our country storms are simply given old local names. and they were all female names before. its just until recently that some are given male names.
