be careful to tose "friends" on friednster asking for money.
a scam has been circling around about about this.
a "friend" of her left a message on her friendster and asking for her celfone number coz she now has a roaming fone (the so-called friend is working abroad). the victim gave her celnum to that friend.
after texting messages, this friend asks for money to be send to her family where the victim is, since she can't right now "with all the excuses you can think of"... and the poor victim thinking that this is her friend... send ample amount of money.
a total of almost 40K was extracted from a victim, an a laptop worth 35K to be sent to the "friend's" cousin as a bday gift will be paid when this "friend" is back.. which is by the way... soon..
notice that all lendings and asking of favors was done through text message. no call.
it turns out. it's not her real friend, since the friendster account of her friend was hacked and was used for this scam.
and ooppsss... it's now too late since you lost lots of money, and she was able to ask your account and password from friendster cause she said... her friendster account was locked.. so she just need to use yours just to check...
just beware of this scam..
