Are any of those "claim your prize" emails legitimate?

I received an email saying that i'd won an amount of money and i'd like to know if any body out there has actually won money this way?

Beware ! These are the Nigerian rogues who usually do these things. They send emails to people saying you have won million dollars on some pretex or other. Donation or whatever. Then they ask for your details, then meet you and ask for a huge amount as expense charges. Pay them and they disappear. In India, we have got every so many nigerians caught in a trap by the police for such a fraud.

It's a complete scam. I get emails like those every other day and they are something that you should just avoid.
