What is your general opinion of President Bush? And why do you feel this way? I am curious of others' thoughts on this topic.

I like the man. Contrary to what everyone else seems to think, I believe that he is honest and decent and a true leader. Sure, he makes mistakes, and he gave the Iraqis a little more control than they could handle at the time. Sure, he seems a little arrogant at times towards the media (for which I can't blame him, as they regularly snub their noses at him).
Overall, I think that in a generation, people will look back at him and see that, hey- he had the right idea by trying to aggressively root out terrorist organizations at the source... and hey, the economy is actually really very good under his presidency... and that America's image is not "ruined" around the world, except our image of weakness, which was widespread in Arab countries.
I voted for Gore in 2000, but Bush won me over after 9-11 when I started re-examining these issues. I have generally had a high respect for him since.
