Has anyone been in Venice Italy recently?

I have lived in Venice for 8 years and am missing this beautiful city really so much. The only thing that I didn't like at all was the awful smell around October and November, but all the rest, things as archtecture, history and romance are so abundant there that it makes you fall in love forever and ever with this city. I wonder if among MyLot's citizens there are others who have lived there and mis the city?

Hi Butterfly, thanks for the reply, and you definitely should visit Venice as it really is one of the few cities around that keeps my imagination going and mis so much being there :)

I find that place so beautiful especially Milan, I only see that place in the movie...huuhuhu...

I was in Venice more than twenty years ago and only for one day, but it was enough to like it. I would love to return there and spend a longer time knowing its little streets and bridges, the "palazzos" and the churches, sailing along its channels, sitting at a coffee shop in Piazza San Marcos, etc.
