My worktime schedule is 4pm to 12 midnight. My co-employee asked me to report to work because she will attend burial. So, yesterday, I worked 4 to 12 midnight... went to bed at around 1am and woke up at 6 and reported to work at 7am. I am on the bed right now supposedly.
What do you think about this? Have you tried this same situation?

Your first question is what do I think about that? It is only a 'give & take' situation happening between you and your co-employee. Sometime 'give' has to come first and 'take' will be the next. And the vice-versa may happen in someday to come. Just showing that you close to him/her, if not, it wouldn't happened that such way of transition
To your second question, yes, used to be with that situation. And I'm happy with that kind of situation as long as my co-working partner more friendly to each other and as far as there is no such element of 'take for granted' and always pay for 'win-win' situation.
If our sacrification does make us happy, why not?

Well every Saturday night 1- 10 PM scheduled but sometimes as late as 11:30 then drive home 45 minutes, then walk the dogs and get up at 6 so I can leave the house by about 7:10 to get to work again.
I guess I get about 5 or 5 1/2 hours sleep on those nights, since i wake up before the alarm goes off.
This is my regular schedule.
Usually Thursday is a 13 hour day, Friday 13-14 hours, Saturday 9-12 hours, Sunday and Monday I try not to work OT.
