A lawyer can solve 32 math riddles per hour and his friend takes three hours to solve the same number.
If they both work on them, how long will it take for them to solve 32 math riddles?
Its not that difficult, try to solve and u will get the answer soon (",)

Good Riddle! Though the answer is given I am still not convinced. So let me check it.
The lawyer solves 32 riddles in an hour
The friend solves 32/3 riddles in an hour
They both solve 32 + 32/3 riddles in an hour
That is 96/3 + 32/3 = 128/3 riddles in an hour
That is 128/3 riddles in 60 minutes
Then how many minutes will they take for 32 riddles?
That will be 60 divided by 128/3 into 32
(60x3)/128 x 32
(180x32)/128
180/4
45 minutes.
Good, 45 minutes is the correct answer. Anyway everyone who contributed gets a + from me.

The logical answer is .75 hour (45 minutes) but it doesn't say that either of them works on the riddles for the same amount of time (the lawyer could stop after 30 minutes). So the correct answer as you have it written is unknown or undefined.
The way it should be written to get 45 minutes which I am guessing you are trying to get at is:
A lawyer can solve 32 math riddles per hour and his friend takes three hours to solve the same number. If they both work on them AT THE SAME TIME, how long will it take for them to solve 32 math riddles?
