My boyfriend gets mad at me because i can drink more then him. Is that dumb? Like I drink whiskey & he likes beer. I havent lost but maybe 2 drinking contests in my whole life. I can drink alot. So I dont see why it bothers him so much. Guys, does it bother you to have a girl that can drink your as$ under the table?

That is definately a dumb thing. I can't drink that much and I think it's cool - makes for a cheaper night if you can get drunk on less.

I haven't met a girl that can out drink me yet but I suppose if I did my ego would be hurt a little. It would be sort of like a girl beating a guy in arm wrestling. heavy drinking is supposed to belong to our side of the gender and when females are better at it we feel less manly.

LOL. Thanks for the answer. I just dont get it. He can cook better then me & thats something im suppose to be better at. But i dont care that he is better at it then me. I dont get the whole male ego thing in general.

That is like telling a guy his manhood is small. You dont just flaunt that you can drink more. Besides, arent there anyother things that you can do with your boyfriend other then drink?

Do you flaunt it a lot, point it out to other people too much, and just generally act too proud about it? That'd have an effect I think...

No. Just like when we are at a party & in a drinking contest or at a bar. I drink more then him & yeah, people talk about it. Not me, the others do. But not nessacirly like about him. Just about how most girls cant drink that much.

Honestly, he does have the right to get mad at you for what you've been doing. For my opinion, i don't think it is right for a girl to drink that much. Maybe for some occassion but not that much. Its not nice to look at especially if you are with your boyfriend. You need to learn to respect him especially in a crowd. That way your relationship will last long.

So basically he has a right to drink when he wants cause he is a guy but i dont because I am a girl? Why do you think it is not nice to look at Especially when Im with my boyfriend? I think a girl has as much right as a guy to drink. Aint they equal?
