How can I get paid for my photos?

I have uploaded some photos to myLot already. But in the table representing my earnings, the amount of money paid for my photos is zero. I dont know what fault I made. Could anybody tell me?

you can earn in your pictures when you reach at the 500 points. you can upload in your interests.

If you loaded them in your profile they don't count toward earnings. They must be related to a discussion. I can not get pictures to load for a discussion, try as I might.
