Do you have long hair or short hair when you are pregnant?

I wonder whether your hair style will have a change since you are pregnant. I had a medium long hair before. I had a very short hair when I was pregnant. As I thought at that time I especially sweat a lot because of pregnancy. And I thought short hair would be easier for me to handle.

My hair was pretty much the same length all the way through. It did grow a bit though and I trimmed it when I arrived in the USA. It is due for another makeover.

Yes, hair styles can change during pregnancy.
I have a lot of long brown hair and I just seemed to lose more of it than have it change at all.

Hi I am new to this site I am 5 and a half months pregnant. (23 weeks to be exact.) I am from New Zealand and being part Maori (native NZr) I don't believe in cutting my hair while I am pregnant. So as a result my hair is down to my hips (I have a 20 month old son). Some women here do cut their hair and some don't depending on famliy tradition and tribal protocols.

I had shoulder length hair at the start of my pregnancy. By the time I delivered, it was down to my waist. I'm sure the prenatal vitamins and all the milk I was drinking had something to do with it, lol. Even though I was pregnant all summer, I just pulled it back into a ponytail or braid so it didn't take much work. :)

Shorter hair is certainly easier to maintain and helps you stay cool especially during pregnancy. However, for some reason I kept my hair long during my pregnancy. I think I kept my hair long because the prenatal vitamins made my hair grow a lot and it finally looked good! I had nine months of really great hair days.

I had medium long hair like you before I got pregnant. I kept it the same length during and after my pregnancy, mainly because I don't like the way I look with short hair.
I remember the stylist I had during my college years telling me that all of her clients would want to chop their hair off when they got pregnant bc they were so unhappy w/ their belly and weight gain. My stylist said she would always try to talk them out of a drastic haircut!
