What if.....?

Ok everyone let's see if we can have some fun and forget about our problems for a while.This is a what if forum.. Today's what if question is....What if you won say one million dollars what would you do? be honest ...Because I know that I would make sure I paid my debts and invested some but I would build my house and buy a nice car and van... What would you do. A million is not as much as everyone thinks because different areas have higher costs of living in Pa I can by a house at 50,000 but in maryland the same house is 500,000. I look into it this last weekend when I was up there with my friend.

First I would pay off my bills, then I would take a trip around the world, go to the casino.I would buy me a house on the beach, a new car, give some money to my family, and start a business for my family to run.

Thanks for best response. Since you do have an issue with boats and planes, you can drive across the U.S.A.,Canada & Mexico, my friend, get out and see the world!!

Nice, I like the idea of a trip around the world but I have issues with planes, ok i have issue being in anything that i'm not driving. I have that control issue. The only other two people that ever let drive me any where that youwl be far away was Jesse and Eric. But I like to be the one driving.

My finace and I play this game all time. Besides the typical stuff (new house, pay debt, invest, and new car) we would start a foundation to help people with post traumatic stress syndrome get the help they need. I have a friend who committed sucide after returning in Iraq because he didn't get the help he needed fromt he gov't.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend and the foundation is a great idea. It is a great act of kidness I suppose you would dedicate the foundation in loving memory of your friend. Good luck and maybe you can actually get it up and running by bouncing the ideas off of coperations who might want to have some good publicity and be involved in supporting the troops who make our country great. Build a non profit business plan you most likely can make a go of it without winning lots of money and remember location location location... that is what is one of the most important things in a business plan.. I know that they drilled that into me in college.

first thing i'd do is go shopping buying ramdom little things that i like but would never waste money on unless i was loaded. I'd also buy loads of clothes. When i had had my fun i would buy a house and put the rest of the money away for a rainy day as £1000000 sounds a lot but in reality isn't that much it roughly £500000 and some houses cost that much.
Or i may start a business so my money would grow.

I like the idea of that way you can add to your bank roll andwill be in the position of actually liking you job.great ideas. Like you I would have to buy clothes but not a lot..
