bell - Its the part of any temple, or church. We hardly see any temple or church without bell. What is special in the bell? Is there any influence of Bell sound or frequency generated by Bell on our body?

From my very childhood I am familiar with Bells. Its the bell I seen on the neck of Cows. Its the bell ring by Wallcloak, its the bell at School, Its the bell at Temples. Its he bell at Churches.Its sound is special. What is special in that sound? Is that for good sign or just for warning? Is that any good influence on our body or soul?
