I am gardening by using three flowerpots, I have one of cantaloupe, and one of squash, and the last one are full of cucumbers. I have not gotten any cantaloupe yet but I planted them late. I have only gotten one squash; it has lots of male flowers but no female flowers. I have gotten lots of cucumbers. Now the plants are starting to turn yellow and I read that is because they need fertilizer, and the best type would be from fish emulsion. I bought some liquid fish emulsion fertilizer yesterday and mixed with water and watered the plants last night. I will see how well it will work. I also had to spray for bugs. I have aphides on the squash, little black bugs on the cantaloupe and ants on the cucumbers. I guess with the rust on the beans I have all the bugs that we can get. LOL

I did a double take when I saw your discussion title.lol. You had me scared there for a minute. I wish I could grow stuff like that. My soil is terrible so maybe I will try the pot idea.

The soil so so bad that is why I bought the pots and the soil. The initial investment is big but next year I will only have to buy the seeds or the plants. I have not watered them today to see how they are doing since I added the fish emulsion to them I hope they are doing well.
