I had two c-sections back in 1977 and 1979 then I also had a total hysterectomy through the same incision in 1984. I then had a major back surjury that had to be preformed through this incision also in 1998.The doctor made a mistake and nicked my bile, witch caused a infection to go all through my body, this required me to have 2 other surgurys through this same incision. So All together I have been cut 6 times. My scar is about 3 inches above my navel all the way down to my hair line, but it is not numb.I guess it was at first, but this has been so many years ago. The numbness should go away in time.

Maybe you got used to it so it didn't bug you anymore? I never had c sections with my kids so I didn't know what to expect...

Yes it will feel numb for a while. I had two c-sections and the incision felt numb for a month or to. Now when I touch it it dosent have as much feeling as the rest of my belly. I guess because they cut through so much. It will get better though.

I've had two, one up and one down, I guess after 20 years I have never really paid any attention, I was more worried the first one was going to show in my bikini, by the second one I did not care anymore because I had gained sooo much weight, that I would never go in public showing that much skin

I went through that surgery two years ago. The scar is almost gone and the numbness is there, but just a little. I think it depends on the damage done to the nerves. You will get used, don't worry.
