where do you blow your nose? on a tissue or a hanky?

I use tissue because blowing my nose in a hanky then putting it back inside my bag or pocket is really gross =_=

i use a tissue or papertowel to blow my nose then i discard it i don't like hankies when you wash them the snot gets on the other clothes gross

I prefer a new clean tissue each time I need to blow my nose. I do not like using a hanky because it is filled with germs once used and reusing it is just not of my choice.

i also prefer tissue papers. It's disposable and you do not need to spread the virus.. ^_^ I just don't like the cheap kind where fibers of tissue stick to your face when you use it... ^_^

I prefer to use tissue papers, as blowing your nose is something dirty and I don't want to carry dirt with me, so I prefer to do it with something disposable. Tissue papers are very hygienical, and easy to carry with you. Also, they're not expensive, so I prefer them.

I actually think hankies are very unhygenic. With tissues you literally blow or wipe and then throw the tissue away. With hankies you blow and keep it in your pocket...not very nice!

I use a handkerchief to blow my nose, wipe sweat and tears. I don't like to use tissue because it produces too much waste. The hanky, you just wash it and use it again. I am sick and tired of the piles of tissue I find everywhere I go. When I go to college and try to put something in the desk it's filled with garbage, from which at least half consist of tissue...

I like to use yissues, because then they can just be thrown away, and never to be seen again...lol.

hi josan, I don't have allergies, I prefer to use tissue paper than a hanky when blowing my nose. Tissue paper are easily to disposed but most of the time I have hanky with me whenever I go to public places to protect me from dust and sweat. it's me, eunixia

I blow my nose on a tissue paper of course. I think it is quite gross to blow your nose on a hanky. It is very unhygeinic. But I do see some people blow their nose on a hanky and see that it has been used too much from wiping their noses. I mean, if you know you are sick and coming down with the cold, why don't they buy some tissue? I don't own a hanky, but I do carry a small cloth or a towel to freshen up. I use it to wipe my face from facial oil, sweat, and to put powder on.

Hi josan181237! Just like you, I use tissue paper in blowing my nose however when there is no tissue paper at hand and I really have to relieve my nose, I will use my hanky but then I do throw it afterwards. :) Have a nice day!

I don't really understand why anyone would use a hanky? Coz it's just full of all sorts of stuff.. Ewww... I use tissue :) I'd like to add on to the question. How many of you have done this. 1) On Monday put new hanky in pocket. 2) On Tuesday you forget to change it, and at the afternoon, you blow your nose, and then you put the hanky back in your pocket 3) On Wednesday, you take the same hanky to help wipe something off your friends face.. !!!!!
