Why doesn't my flash works after masking it

hi, everyone..
I need ur help urgently.
This discussion is with regards to macromedia flash files.
I used masking layers in my flash files. But it does not seems to work.
Meaning after i mask the layers, the image does not show in the flash and also, the text that i mask, didnt appear despite i embed the characters.
Is there something wrong with my programme? Or is there something wrong with the way i do? But it used to be fine.
ANyone encounter the same problem?
Btw, im quite new in web designing.
Can anyone introduce me a good book that is available in singapore, so that i can pick up skills in flash more efficiently...

O.O hello regards to in masking laYers. I done it be4 for fun by experiment with other ppl source files.. Here and there i fiddle. WAh cool flash.. I long 4gotten donkey yrs liao. Gd idea asking 4 help in here. i juz fiddle with other ppl source files. SSShh but i aint copycat. hehe i only done flash webbie.. Oh yaH Y u dun try read duMMies flash bOOk.. i duNNO still have it or not? Easy n good guide laH. coz' i used to borrow book on Visual Basic maH ON my FYP..EEKs Yuck nitemare. i was idiot in logical thinking haha.. vomits on C+ FYP. i hate it rotten. :P Cheer Up no worry problems will be solved. winks

I guess its okie la.. I mean its good to study others files coz it helps us gains experience too... its okie as long as we are not claiming others works as ours.. =P
u not C++?
Meaning u can do basic programming too?
U r great... should continue on what u do ma... provided u like all tt la.. keke...

rolling eyes @.@ excuse me! I aint expert in programming laH like C+ programming only basic. err C++ hardest thing.. hehe
:p I am amateur.. WEll i am jack of all trades mean i know a bit in all types of programming in website design.. NOt An expert in it.. But i can understand abit of language used in designing web laH.. I hate programming already hehe especially C+ =P i only like microcontroller programming easy 2 understand. hehe Remember tis i Aint a master in 1 subject haha LOL.... YA still have problem with layer masking. I sure u will find solutions to it winks .. Cheerio~~
