Personally I think the idea of struggle is a partly a mind-set and partly circumstance. Years ago I struggled a lot more when I was living beyond my means mentally, spiritually, energetically, emotionally and physically.
As I have grown my Soul, studied Reiki to the teacher level and looked at my life path with energy-based perspectives life is no longer a struggle. Through many ups and downs my hubby and I have have prioritized what matters in life and we make our choices from that perspective.
We know for sure our spiriutal growth is our first priority...then comes our commitment to each other, friends, our community and the world at large. We have a financial budget that we now stick to and when we stopped living beyond our means...we got into a flow and inner outer balance that sustains us...even when things seem unclear or even somewhat complicated.
When we wait, think ahead and use our heads to make sensible choices...we definitely struggle a lot less now. I think many people in this fast paced world are living way beyond their means and that creates struggle and imbalance. Sometimes hard decisions need to be made to bring things back...but it can be done if the willingness is there. At least that's what my experiences have taught me.

Well my goodness...thank you for your positive feedback...and the best response. It was unexpected...but much appreciated.
I value our chats and sharing ideas as well as the on-line friendship we have developed. I always check our your site because I appreciate the quality of the topics. Some people say I make them think...and you do that for me too!

I guess everyone likes to have an easy way out and a life without struggles. Yes, it is possible in reality. Have'nt you heard the saying 'born with a silver spoon'. Some people get everyhing so easily but some have to really struggle to get/acheive the samething. It is very much true that one would not be able to learn without struggles. I would go one step ahead and say 'A life without adventures is not worth living atall.'

Healwell i personally believe that it is all what we decide, and that means that if we decide to make complicated things to simple things we would not have to struggle. It is all what we set our mind to.
I know that i could have a situation and look at it at one way of a stuggle and in another way of not struggling, just doing what i have to do and everything will be in place.
Of course it is possible in real, i do that. :)

LIFE ...the progression is a strenuous effort. Struggles make life more meaningful . I would emphasize that no one is devoid of struggles at any particular time in one's life.

Hello Healwell!
I have always believed that one cannot experience joy without knowing sadness. I feel the same is true for struggle. I think that people would not know how "lucky" or successful they've become without knowing how difficult the "struggle" to get there was. However, I also believe that once one has achieved a spiritual knowing, than struggles don't seem nearly as difficult. And, also as a result of spiritual growth, struggle may be seen as a good thing since we all know that we learn from all our experiences.

Different people will give different meanings to struggle. I must say, life without struggle would be boring. I personally think that one must have all his needs beyond his reach, so that he would labour to get what he wants and value it. If people get things without any problem, they will not have any value and start wasting resources. Even when I can afford, i never give my kids what they want when they want it the first time. I make them struggle for it so they could understand life is not easy and one must always will not have luxuries. I show them the people who struggle. By this I want to inculcate values in them.
