Specifically, I take Vitamin E for skin, iron for blood and calcium for bone growth, just a single dose for each in a day...
Vitamins are substances that your body needs to grow and develop normally. Each vitamins has specific jobs. But the best way to get enough vitamins is to have a balance diet with a variety of food.

hi,
Well, I have a different kind of thinking regarding vitamin supplements which is primarily based on experience and its effects on me:
I take ascorbic acid 500mg, 1 tab at breakfast & 1 tab at dinner for increase resistance and tissue healing.
Multivitamins 500mg 1 tab at breakfast then 1 tab at dinner for my stressful job.

I do believe that to be in our best optimal health, we need to take enough sleep, eat nutritious and balanced food and exercise. I am not very convinced in taking vitamins, but guess what? I do take lots of vitamins and supplements. Evryday, I take 500-1000mg of vitamin C, calcium, multivitamins and even ganoderma and spirulina. Whew! That's a lot. What makes me take all those things is that I do not have enough sleep - maybe around 5 hours only. My diet consist mainly of meat and sweets. And I do not exercise. Plus all the stress in my work. So how am I suppose to combat all these bad elements? I try to neutralize them with vitamins. Keep healthy!
