Are you a fast typer? Or are you kind of new to the advanced technology? Have you ever timed yourself when typing?

I'll show my age by saying that I took typing in high school. The teacher even picked me to be one to compete in a competition. But now I am very much out of practice. I can still touch type, all then fingers without looking at the keyboard, and I'm still fairly fast, but have no idea how many words a minute I type now. I make a lot more mistakes than I used to. Most of the mistakes I know it immediately and have to go back a few words and correct them. Some mistakes slip by and sometimes I will catch them when I check over what I have typed and sometimes I won't, especially if they are of the kind where I left a word out because I was thinking ahead of my typing.

I took typing in high school too but I dropped the class like the second day. I just thought it was useless. I type fast but I don't like having to have a certain finger hit a certain key. I hated having to just keep my hands in one position. I just move my hands all over when I type. I guess it's my own method because it works for me. lol I make some mistakes but I notice them right away and go back.

Fast enough!. My current speed is 216 characters per minute with 99% accuracy. So I think I am good enough. Actually I raised it from 195 cpm to 216 cpm in just a couple of weeks and I think if I maintain this pace I can be super fast.
