Who are the players you've considered to be in the best XI since the inception of the Premier League? Do provide your views, arguments and support your reason why you think they should be in the XI. I'll like to start off with mine XI (for now):
Schmeichel (the best keeper in the world during his time, no doubt),
Irwin (Mr Reliable, one of the most consistent performers I've ever seen, a great free-kick taker too),
Bruce (strong and powerful. A great header, was like a Great Wall),
Pallister (with Bruce, there's no better partner),
G Neville (long established right-back, neat over-lapping runs),
Keane (no-nonsense play, great leader),
Robson (my all-time fav, can score goals with a scuff of his head),
Giggs (a legend now, still can't forget the goal he scored against Arsenal), Ronaldo (great dribbler, speed demon combining grace, power and accuracy),
Cantona (the KING, great charisma, A true Devil. Will never forget him),
McClair (the most intelligent player in his time, a top-notched goal poacher)

I've realised that Ferdinand has saved United's defence on many occasions, but sometimes I just don't understand why he made schoolboy blunders. Commentators/critics put it to his lack of concentration. I think he's good and certainly deserve his big pay checks but do not reckon he should be in the all-time best team. Evra is improving, his attacking forward runs are good, but he still needs to sharpen up his defensive techniques. He's overall too attack-minded that he loses pace at the back. Yorke has great skills and a great goal scorer, but there are many in his position whom I believe are better.
Thanks for sharing.

1. Peter Schmeichel - it has to be the Great Dane. he was inspirational during the 97/98 campaign
2. Jaap Stam - Even though he was only around for a couple of years, he was arguably one of the best defenders in the world then
3. Irwin - consistent and faithful
4. Steve Bruce - provides solid defence
5. Pallister - reliable
6. Paul Scholes - consistent and do more talkings on the pitch than off the pitch
7. Giggs - who can forget that wonder goal?
8. C Ronaldo - young, talented player, bright future ahead
9. Bryan Robson - greater leader during his time
10. Cantona - inspirational to players like giggs and beckham
11. Solskjaer - baby faced assassin.. haha.. who can forget his goal during the champions league final against bayern

Well...we've had almost the same XI. I feel Jaap Stam was abit slow and I couldn't forget his own header goal during the league match against Blackburn?? And of course, Sir Alex is going to berade me for including Stam! Paul Scholes almost got into my XI. He was always in my mind no doubt he's a great player. I've nothing to argue for your Scholes' inclusion. Solskjaer will better remain in my subs bench.
Thanks for participating.
