I just installed the union speech to text software from Microsoft office . I didn't even know that Microsoft office had included in the text to speech engine a speech to text engine in ms office . Although I still have to go back and make corrections often I am really loving the software ! Finally the gates stranglehold on technological development has finally given us at the tool that we can use that actually works . WOW! Yes I was amazed too, so have you installed your speech to text engine in your version of Microsoft office yet ? you are anything like me you hate to have to learn new software. however on can think of any more necessary ergonomic developmental software that is of more use more that cuts down on the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome that all computer users face , so what are you waiting for Christmas ? We already know that you have a computer or you wouldn't be reading this post on my Lot right now . What do you think of the Microsoft software compared to other commercial software's such as via voice or dragon ? I have very briefly use the via voice software and I found another unwieldy and a big pain in the tukass. but you know what they say you can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs. believe me all of the egg headsare already using it .

Wow that definitly is an option now for me. I'm guessing it is free but if it isn't I wouldn't even think about it. I'd rather stick to typing.

That's a cool new software from microsoft. By the way is it available in all MS office softwares or only in 2007. If it is free or paid. THere are other similar softwares available around but they are very costly, like dragon.

No it doesn't cost a thing it is in the MS Office Suites, I am running Office 2003 and it works fine there. I know about dragon and via voice and the cost associated with each but this is free or I wouldn't recommend it.
