Woohooooo! I just got my "eyes" back from the eye doctor, and I can SEE again! Life is so much better now. Now I don't have to use those darned dark prescription sunglasses to see what I'm typing (although, like Sodapop teased me about, I DID think I looked pretty cool the whole time LOL). So I will be back on trying to catch up on over 500 notifications in my email. Ugh! Thank you so much to my darling friends for giving me so much support, love and understanding. I love you all! Muaaaaah!

Okay how many fingers am I holding up? hehe
Glad you have your eyes back and glad you're back here--I do hope you maybe got two pairs of glasses...that's what I've always done in the past, so if one pair gets busted I have the spare pair..In fact I wear my aviator type glasses for being out in the world and then I wear my other pair at home

Unfortunately, I only have the one pair right now. And I have to baby these until next year when I can get another set that's fully paid for by the insurance. Maybe I'll get lucky and win the lottery so I can buy another pair. YA RIGHT! LOL And you're not holding up any fingers right now, cuz they're on your keyboard typing! Hehehe

I think mine costs a little more because I have an astigmatism in my left eye, and the lens is twice the thickness of the right lens. I know that from my doctor they cost me $148.00, but they might be less somewhere else. I've never really checked into it.

Can't help asking...is it a very special and expensive prescription?? I was lucky, I took my old prescription to this discount eyeglass place and only paid $25 for each pair --not bad really

LMAO Cat fur does clean itself, just like dog fur does. They just skitter under the fridge, stove, chairs, couch, counters, etc.

I've been blind for a good deal of the past year, and now 4 surgeries later I can see again too. Life is simply the pits being unable to see, so congrats, I'm happy for you.

WOW! FOUR surgeries? That's amazing hon. I'm glad you are able to see now too. I will be having eye surgery probably next year, but mine is to correct the muscles in my eyes so that I can focus both eyes on the same object at the same time. Thank you so much hon.

I was just about to call you "Kool Kat" as a new nickname with your shades on....but noooooooo....you had to go and ruin it back getting your eyes back. Are you sure they are your eyes? Maybe they got them mixed up and gave you someone elses eyes. Do they match? Is one black and the other blue? Why am I asking you...you can't see them...LOL.
