a friend showed me this a while ago, and i thought it was kinda cool. and i haven't found a flaw with it either. its true! the ultimate number is 9!!! take any number (other than zero) and multiply it by nine, and add the digits in the resulting answer together until you have one number left, and it will always equal nine! e.g.: 9x58=522. add the 2s and get 4 and add the five to that you get 9. 9x37954=341586. 3+4=7, 1+5=6, and 8+6=14. 1+4=5, 5+7=12, 1+2=3, and 3+6=9. the 9's have it, folks!!!

Well - when checking to make sure you did it right, if 9 is involved, it might be a way to check your math work to make sure that you have it right by seeing that it does add up to 9. Oh - yeah - there was also something sort of magical about the number 3 (multiply it in itself & you get 9, but there is a lot more about it that I cannot recall.
