I promised to get an update out to all about Michael and his custody fight over my first grandbaby, Makayla Marie...Sorry it's taken so long.
CJ and I went to my mom's in Oregon for 9 days and then we were we flew (nightmare from you know where, but that's another story) from there to my dad's in California for 9 days, last month.
I saw my grandbaby for the first time and it was a very emotional moment for me. She is such a little doll. I was so happy to hear that Shasta, Makayla's mother, decided to get a back-bone and told her family off..! She told them that she and Michael were going to stay together, live together, and be a family. They will be getting married soon from what I understand.
They are now living together in Shasta's apartment with Makayla Marie and are very happy. Her grandmother and aunt are still trying to interfere every chance they get but at least the court is on Michael and Shasta's side for now, that is.
Michael continues to be the doting father; changing diapers and giving baths. Shasta is a very good mother also and has come out of her shell, at last. She was so quiet and scared of everyone; now you can't get her to stop talking sometimes. It's a miracle and so very exciting.
Thank you all my friends for your continued support of me and my family. Blessings to you all.

Blessings be with you and all your fsmily members as well. It's really too bad when adults act like children isn't it ? You know what happends the kids straighten out their differences and the adults hold the grudge. How mature is that ? Anyway good luck.

Thank you, my dear friend. Same to you and yours. It is sad that adults tend to be more childlike - not the good part of childlike - than the children or young adults themselves. Seems to me that the young people of today could teach the older generation a thing or two about everything from, love to compassion.

It is amazing the backbone you grow when you have a child to provide a future for. Shasta seems to want better for Makayla than she had herself. I am glad that she is making a choice for the baby's future with a dad who loves her too.

It must have been a memorable moment to finally hold your grand daughter at last. I am very happy for you and that your son and his partner are together. Its ashame when other family members think they have the right to interfere in peoples lifes.
I wish you all happiness for the future:0)
