no class because of baranggay SK or something!

hi there guys!
we have no class today because we have been given time to register for the baranggay sangguniang kabataan or something. honestly, i have no idea what this is. you see, i grew up knowing that every election, cheating would always happen here in this country. lolz. i mean, no offense or anything, i am just speaking of the truth. that is why i have no plans of registering in our baranggay but my mom is forcing me to do so.
any comments guys?

Remember the story of the seashells and the man who threw them back to the sea? When someone asked the man why he does that when there were a lot of seashells that will be washed up on the shore anyway, his answer was “At least I made a difference.” So like in your case, I guess it is well known that our elections most often than not involves cheating. But if you give up your right to vote and do something right, then you give up on your chance to make a difference.
