Do you think or believe animals are equal to human beings?

If you do, why?
What can an animal do that humans can not and what can a human do that an animal can not?
Do animals pay taxes, do animals have jobs to survive?
Tell me why, if you do, believe animals are on equal footing with human beings.

I have to agree with the top poster. Taxes, jobs...all that mess comes from a man-made world. Humans may be smarter (or some humans haha) than most animals and more evolved than many, but I think if all of our creature comforts were taken away, along with technology and the hordes of doctors/scientists, we'd be royally messed up. Then who'd you think would survive better?
