I just packed up all the baby clothes that I got from my friend with the twins, for my new niece...The box weighs 40 pounds and there are alot of clothes in it...The box is 23 x 18 x 15..there were onsies, hats, booties, socks, sleepers, and lots more....I am so happy to get this out to my niece...Her baby was born June 21st..Baby things are just so darn cute....They smelled so good too!...I can't wait till she gets this huge box and finds all the clothes. It is stuffed so full that I couldn't even get another snuggle dryer sheet in it, that is how full it is..LOL..I hope the mailman can lift it...LOL..

I know..it was funny because even though some were from the twins there weren't any doubles of anything..so that was really nice..the socks were so teeny tiny....I already sent her two crocheted blankets that I made.....I am going to send my friend some money for the clothes...she doesn't want any but she can buy diapers for the babies with it...her twins are 8 months and her daughter is 1 and 1/2 and she is still in diapers...

i hope she really appreciates it that sounds like a lot of clothes.
Maybe you will get to go visit her and help out with all that laundry one of these days, LOL
I so hate laundry especially at my house because it is so unorganized. If it were organized maybe it would be easier.
My sister just called and guess what she's doing??? Laundry...LOL

She doesn't know I am sending this much..Her mom told her I had a few things to send..I was having so much fun folding everything and making sure it was all nice and neat...Then I just sat there and thought about how excited she is going to be..It makes me happy...thank you.

that's the thing with babies. they grow so fast! that's why forums on mothering and babies are so active - lots of exchanging and trading of clothes. and sometimes people keep their maternity clothes not knowing when they might need them again, and most times it's sooner than they think! to get the most mileage out of baby clothes it might be best to keep track of where they've gone and then ask whether they are still around to be given back when the second child comes.
i love looking at baby clothes, esp girl ones cos they are sooooooo pwetty!

It is a great idea. Babies outgrow the clothes before they get enough wear and tear..I love little girls stuff too! When my daughter was little, she had so many clothes it was unreal..I think I could have went 3 months without putting the same thing on her twice..lol

That was so sweet of you! I'm sure your niece will appreciate such a big gift. Baby clothes usually take a few babies before they actually get worn out so sharing like that is the perfect way to get enough use out of them.
Hope the mailman is alright!

Wow. Thats a lot of baby clothes. It is great that they are going to be used by your niece. She is so lucky. I love the smell of baby clothes. and babies for that matter. I will have a new nephew in december. I cant wait. I have a bad habit of spoiling them. But i dont mind. There is only one thing. I do worry about that postman. hehe
Best wishes to you, feona

thats so great that someone else can get use of all those great clothes.babies grow so fast out of their clothes and sometimes only get to wear an outfit maybe once or twice if their lucky.i do the same thing when i have a huge amount of clothes i see if anyone in my family or any of my friends or even neighbors can use them,if they cant i end up selling them on ebay.i had one box that i sold on ebay that was 75 pieces and the box was so heavy.their was evrything for a little baby girl.i was so happy because the person that bought it didnt have to worry about getting clothes for her baby for awhile.i also threw in a couple free gifts which the lady was so appriciated by that gester.she couldnt believe how much she got for such a low price.
