do capital of india (delhi) compete with other capitals countries in the world?

If you are talking in terms of development than its pretty difficult to compete with other developed cities of the world.But I think Delhi has its own advantages as it is a great historical place and has beautiful parks and gardens and particularly beautiful people.Anyways I think all the people living in Delhi should help in reducing pollution level in the city and make it a better place to live.
