I was in a long distance relationship for about 7 months and then I moved to be with him. And it has been wonderful. We have been together for 2 years now. Unfortunately, we just went through another 6 month separation due to military deployment but, he will be home soon and it is going to be a beautiful reunion!!!

yah, i do believe in long distance relationship..im into it now... its hard esp if your not used to it..but if you trust, believe and love him/her distance is not a hindrance in your relationship...long distance relationship is not bad if you have communication..but if communication bet. the two of you is cut dont expect that you last for ever...

I think my two relationships involving distance were healthier than the one where we were together every day. Well, he was an idiot too, that may have something to do with it. ANYWAY (lol), I think it can work as long as there is communication, trust, and no actions that could break that trust. My husband is in the Navy, so even now that we are married, we still spend a lot of time relying on phone and emails for communication. And we still feel just as connected... though I do miss his touch. Makes the homecomings all the more special!

Yes i do. I am in one right now myself. My boyfriend is moving down here in the next 2 weeks. I think if you find the one you love then it doesnt matter how far you are. Its hard especially when you want a hug or a kiss. If your long distance for a short time and know you will be with each other soon then its fine. Im not sure how i would feel if it was years apart.

I believe in long distant relationships only if you are in love with the person. Because if you really care about the person just talking on the phone throughout the day or talking on the internet should make that day much better. And then when you do end up able to see your love one it makes the couple cherish their time together more and more. And it seems today that couples when they first start dating spend too much time together and their relationship tends to get dull. SO therefore if its long distance the two will be able to spend there time apart and at the same time be together on the phone or whatever.

hehe...yes of course!!!and besides, distance is always relative...you may be "physically" far from each other, but your hearts may still be together...it just depends on the person involved :-)

I think that long distance relationships are possible, and may even be beneficial if the distance is temporary.
