How many of you adore your Mother-in-Law and what makes her so special?

My husband and I have been friends since we were kids and I knew his whole family very well before we started dating- however even with that said - my MIL can still be very nasty at times- I just try to ignore it and let my husband know how she has hurt me and leave it at that- I tolerate any aggrevation from his family fro my husbands sake - I just very gently let him know what was said and don't bother him after that- he knows what happened and thats all that needs to be said. I know it can be hard but to keep the peace with your husband try to deal with it- remember it is his mother- how would you feel if he said things about your mom...good luck.
