I am very fond of Campbell's Mushroom soup. But I don't know how to prepare a mushroom soup which will have similar taste like the Campbell's soup. Do we put milk or what do we put to make it turn into white? Lol. Please I want a full recipe on this. Thanks a lot.

I make a soup mix that is very similar to Campbell's Mushroom soup and I use it all the time to substitute in recipes. It's very quick and easy and so much cheaper. Here is the recipe:
Cream Soup Mix
2 cups dry milk
3/4 C corn starch (argo)
1/4 C chicken boullion powder
1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
1/2 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 teaspoon dry parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Put all ingredients in a gallon plastic zip bag and shake up to mix.
To use the mix, mix 1/3 cup cream of soup mix with one cup water and heat over medium high heat until it thickens, use a wisk to stir. Add mushrooms or chicken if desired.
Hope this is what you are looking for.
