Has anyoone heard of Fedora: the linux based operating system

I came across this page clicking on links of another page..It's an operating system and is free.
Here is a portion of the desciption followed by the link I stumbled upon:

oh its really good and the great thing about it is that it is always free and latest. Its based on the fedora project which does all the research on linux and results are incorporated into the redhat linux which is the paid version of linux. And downside is that it might have bugs, but it wont effect an ordinary user like me. Since its updated quite often u can say its the latest in linux u could possibly get from any where...
