May sound like a really basic question, but... My blogger (blogspot) blogs show the whole article on the main page.... how do I make it so that the main page will only show the first paragraph or so of each post, and then have a link to click for 'more'? I've looked through Blogger's help and can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!

blogger - Blogger.com website
As of now. Only Wordpress blogs support that kind of feature. I hope that blogger.com would add that kind of feature on their updates.

Seems like it's a pretty common feature of blogs... you'd think that Blogger would have added it already, it could keep people on their platform longer.

Hi idlewild, I think i can help you with this, to not show the full article content, you got to use style codes and also post modification codes to work it out. http://etienneteo.blogspot.com/2007/08/read-more-entry-expandable-post-summary.html

I've been using Blogger for several years, and I have never seen an option to only have a portion of your post showing. Have you seen this done on another blog that's on Blogspot? Some tech savvy folks might be able to figure it out by looking at the coding of someone else's blog.

Hmmm, I don't know if I've seen it on blogspot or not, I'll have to look around. At least now I know I wasn't missing some painfully obvious part of Blogger's instructions. Thanks for the answer!
