I try hard to earn money isn't for myself. I do it for my family. I hope to create a good environment for them, especially for my son. He is very little and he needs education etc. fee when he grows up. I enjoy every minute when I am with my family. I hope I can make efforts to let them live better.

Money is not everything. The purpose of gaining wealth is to make other people's lives better. There are more millionaires in the U.S.A. now than ever. Money for the sake of money is void and vain. If you become wealthy, you should be finding ways to help other people who are less fortunate than you. Charities is a good thing, but if I were a millionaire, I'd prefer to contribute to children's hospitals and to facilitate organ finding/donations.
Most millionaries nowadays have spoiled children who will inherit millions and have no clue what money is all about.
Paris Hilton comes to mind. Party, party, fun, cars, trips, wild life, etc. That's not what true wealth is all about.
There is nothing wrong with being rich as long as you've got your priorities straight.

So true. Living on earth is just a temporary thing. The bible says not to store up our treasures here. We cannot take them with us, it's on loan. People are just so greedy and want power so much, that they focus on all the wrong things.

I think this is more of a north american view. We are so used to the money=power that we fail to realize that money at the end of the day is a number or a piece of paper that isn't worth the paper it is printed on.

Your question in first place is very signifant because you focus on money. The last part make me ponder as you've included the...."all these unnecessary fights, terrorism,....all there are soo painful.".
I'm glad to answer on 'crazy about money related to we are going to die one day'.
If we believed that we are going to die, so we have to work hard and smart for money just to ensure that we and our next generations getting good living status and not pauper.

I think you are referring to the passage in the Bible that says that we should leave a legacy for our children and our children's children. That is an honorable thought.
Me? I would love for this to happen but right now I'm more concerned with whether of not I'll be able to find the funds so that my house doesn't get foreclosed upon.
I am not a particularly materialistic person, in fact I often say that if I can earn enough to pay my bills and have some walking around money left over, I'd be satisfied.

work is to do something you love in such a fashion that, this work in turn goes on to meet tour daily needs.... if u work harder and harder it has to be to satisfy your own innerself not to earn money... but do mind to take into account that your work does help to lead a decent way of life....

I agree, it is sad to worry so much about material things and money when others have so many difficulties. On the other hand, it's hard not to get wrapped up in your own life.
I guess it's always important to take the time to reflect.

You are absolutelly right, everyone worries too much about money.
I was one of those people.
Now, all I worry about is paying my bills, and having my luxeries.
I think that we are all going to die, so why SAVE when we can just spend?
I feel like each day is a new day, and we should live each day to it's fullest, and that means, spending unnesassary money on things that give us pleasure.
I know, many others live differently though.
But this is my motto.
Although, my husband don't agree, and he don't let me have some of my luxeries, because he wants to save, save, save.
But all I want to do is spend, spend, spend!

well your opinion seems to be very philosophical, but it doesn't particularly practical.... for instance imagine yourself earning around $20 per day, and you spend all the money in luxuriex.... now after another 1 month you fall sick( wish it doesn't happen so) what do you do now... or else imagine a situation where in you have spent all your money and all of a sudden your friends come to you in search of most needed money, what do you do now... i prefer saving money for myself, so that it is of some help when most needed.... but at the same time i don't prefer saving money at the cost of comforts....

firstly, it's because of our curiousity...when we compare to others who have more than us, we tend to get it just to experience the pleasure...we wanna explore the world....then later, we started to become greedy n' obsessed with the worldly pleasure, n' thus we fight, kill n' do all those immoral actions just to get it...when we're young n' healthy, we never think of that because we're full of energy n' capable of doing lots of things....till we get older, we'll realize the reason we're here.. :)

Look we all know that we have to die one day and all the money and luxeries of life are temporary so the life too but our mentality have become moronic so we just want to get what others have or you can say that we just believe in what we see but not in the hereafter ............
therefor people cheat, rob, bribe and do other crimes for there lust ..........

oh yeah...it's simply amusing that somehow, only few do really noticed about people being busy on earning money...though it's really painful that others are blind and giving utmost importance on money alone...it is just...somehow a reality that we have to live by. Otherwise, me must admit that with no money at all, what else could we use to be able to survive when all our needs: food, drinks, shelter...name it... are all being paid and obtained in exchange for money?
I understand your point, which is, people were getting obsessed sbout money and they seemed to be forgetful about the importance of their lives or even the people they love around them...that is why to have too much or even too little money can be evil...too much can make you so greedy...and too little can make you feel so drained, that may lead to family arguments or even being tempted for robbery.
If people can only learn the value of contentment...

we treasure everything in our charge, but the most valuable thing, i mean , time ,can never be obtained
without any redemptions or loss.
if people spend their time all like the animal. maybe pain or disasters will gone.
However, money is the only redemption we can hold for the past time.

Hi, yes you are right , people now a days are running a rat race against the time span they have and wanting to acheive everything, not realising that admist all this, their day to day, small pleasures are all going away, they are missing out on what life has to offer and are shortening their lives further. LIfe is just one and we live only once, so live it to the fullest is what i would say. Yes money is important, but then make or have that much of money that is comfortable not run after it day and night and spoil your life and make people around you miserable.
