Truth and lies in online advertising.

Awhile ago, I was surfing around and saw an auction ad for a Nintendo game. Nothing unusual, I suppose. Except for the fact the seller had gone out of their way to embellish the truth in the description. The ad claimed that the game could prevent obesity and diabetes in children. I suppose this was their way of saying, that the game wouldn't turn a child into a couch potato. Very hard to believe someone would make such outrageous statements that are so blatantly untrue. But, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Some people seem to think that there are no laws when it comes to what can be posted online. Have you seen similar untruthful advertisements on the Internet lately? What's the most outrageous advertisement that you have seen? Do you think these untruthful businesses should be penalized for their deceiptions? Please share your opinion on this subject.
