I just ate french fries for dinner tonight and I got to wondering.
what sort of condiments do you use for your french fries?
I have usually used ketchup, but my husband has gotten me into using mayonnaise for them.
It surprisingly tasted very good!
For my fish, I like to use lemon juice, while my husband prefers tartar sauce.
For my sandwiches, it just depends, if it is ham or bologne, I like to use mustard, but if it is turkey or chicken, I use mayonnaise.
So how about you?
What sort of condiments do you prefer on your
french fries?
Fish?
Sandwiches?
Or do you prefer none?
Tell all!

I dont care for fish but on french fries my tastes vary as much as my moods LOL sometimes I like them with mayo, other times I love Poutine (fre.fries, cheese curd and gravy), other times still I like them with the works (ketchup, vinager, gravy, salt and pepper) but I've not dont that in ages...and once in a while just ketcup is fine but thats rare for me LOL I also like french frie sandwiches but it has to be homeade fries to do that or it just doesnt taste right LOL

For french fries, usually ketchup or malt vinegar. Once in a while ketchup and mustard mixed together, and if I happen to have it I might use sour cream instead of any of those things. The sour cream thing was something a friend used to do when she was pregnant, but it actually makes sense since you would eat sour cream on a baked potato, so why not fries?
I don't eat fish, so I guess I don't have an answer for that one.
On sandwiches, mustard or sour cream are pretty much my favorites. I don't eat mayo, it's alwyas grossed me out for some reason. I like spicy brown mustard with ham sandwiches especially.

For my french fries I will use ranch or ketchup, but not both, one or the other. For fish I like a little tarter sauce. Now lunchmeat sandwiches usually mustard or if I bake the turkey sandwich on a bun then mayonnaise. My 15 year old daughter does not like ketchup or any kind of condiment and will not eat sandwiches of any kind,no idea why.

I love spicy garlic-chilli sauce for my fries, lemon juice and tartar sauce for my fish. And none for my sandwiches, I just like ham and tomatoes and cheese for my sandwiches.

Adrienne
