I've always loved horses. I got my first horse 10 years ago(at the ripe old age of 30 something). I have always dreamed of owning a golden palomino walking horse, though. Finally, I am the soon to be owner of my dream horse. She is a 3 month old Golden Palomino, Tennesse Walking horse with loads of personality. It's driving me nuts waiting for her to get weaned from her mama...but, of course, I don't want to rush it....well, I do...but, I won't.
For you horse lovers...what is your dream horse? Do you have him/her already...in the past...or will in the future?

Hello Bojo,
I'm green with envy! I've loved horses all my life, but I've never owned one and probably never will. I refuse to give up hope completely though!! My favorite would be a buckskin, but dappled gray runs a close second. Do you have your pal named yet?

Hi back at ya sara2468!
Don't ever give up hope! I always wanted a horse, from the time I knew what they were. I was 30+ before I was able to have one. We now have 4...including a dapple gray. :)
My new baby's sire is Arkansas Snowman...so her name will be Illinois Ice. Ice for short. Thanks for asking!

Congratulations on your dream horse! That must be very exciting for you. My dream horse would be a seasoned barrel horse so I could rodeo. This is a horse that is a highly-trained professional athlete. Right now I have a 5-year-old that I'm training however it will take me many years to get him to a seasoned barrel horse.

Congratulations!
(I'm very jealous)
I would love to own a golden palomino horse as well. Walkers are just beautiful, so that would be a wonderful combination!
I'd also love to get a Friesian someday.

The very best horse you can own is a broke one. If I can find a gaited mule that I can afford that would be nice.

Congratulations! I don't know how old this post is; you may already have her by now, but I wish you luck whether you have her now or not! It will be a try but rewarding experience training your horse, and I hope that you enjoy it! Upload any pictures if you can. :]
