You've watched thousands of movies and reading loads of storybooks/novel.
Are all their endings meet your expectations or at least ended with a good endings?
Novels and movies are like brothers and sisters in the art world. They are either written or made into movies for our entertainment or informations.
Do you still remember the movies you watched with endings not up to your expectations? Or read a novel with endings you could've made even better?

I cannot remember any particular movie that I saw which I didnot like the ending but sure there were few and also novels..
What I do? i changed the ending in my mind..hehe! I re-write them in my own thoughts..I love happy endings eh so you'll guess all of the movies I see and novels i read have happy / nice ending.

I don't like the ending of Michael Bay's Transformers. It kinda sucked when compared to the animated series and movie. Yes the effects were good, the action sequences were great, but i just hate the ending.
I dunno it seemed like it was rushed. You get to a point where they build it up to a great climax and then..... nothing.... you're left there hanging... That sucks man. Anyway, other than the ending i think the movie was okay.

but at least the Autobots tamed the Decepticons in the end (on planet earth)
and know what, expect a BIGGER & BETTER sequel..
anyway, i'd give the movie a 3 & 1/2 star.
thanks for your post!

I've seen "next" with Nicolas Cage.. I liked the movie but the ending sucked for me.. I mean it was like, "that was it?".. It's a good movie though..

haven't seen it yet..(oh how i missed so many..!)
so, what was your expectation? the villain didn't get the punishment he deserved?
but since you said it was a good movie, how many stars for it then?

Oh god!! There are soo many movies out there that have pissed me off with their endings. Like for instance, I just saw Children of Men. I was enjoying it, la dee da and then it ends. I'm like, "huh? WTF?? that's it?" I don't really like unfinished endings. Endings I have to make up myself. I came to see a movie with an ending, not an unfinished script.
I also did not like the ending to City of angels. Ugh! I don't think I have met anyone that has. Green card was another one. Oh God there are far too many. These are just the main ones that make me grumpy the most.

yeah, so many of them huh...?
me too. in fact i lost count...lol..
one good example is "Timeline", a novel by Michael Crichton.
the novel itself is a super 5-star to my taste.
but when i bought the movie(vcd) and watched it, all i can say is, maximum 2-star - poor product by Richard Donner.

itz not all times yur view is rite! similarly all times doesnt favour yo or yur view! MOvies n Novels r really gud xamsples for this! they may hav a gud or bad or satifactory end which may be ones view but not de view of another! Yo hav to try thinkin in all possible views n be social if yo cant do so! yur views ll always match or intersect!!!
