A freelancer worker is a person who pursues a profession without a long-term commitment to any one employer.

A freelance doesn't restrict him or her to any fixed employer. He doesn't need to work in the office from 9 AM to 5 Pm, instead, he or she could work at any time, any place if he could. Then he or she could enjoy the freedom which the freelance favors. Some friends around me are freelances and they do the translation at home with a computer and a phone. In fact, artists, writers and so forth are freelance.

eTEQ.com - The way of the freelancer
Freelancers often point to freedom as one of the major reasons as to why they took the plunge to work on their own. No longer did they have to sit at a pre-assigned desk, in an office full of people they will never really know, and clock in and out at the same time, every single day. But being a freelancer can be like being out in the uncharted frontier - there's a vast amount of work out there, but the competition can be fierce. Thanks to freelance websites like eTEQ.com, we're finally at the point where it's simple for freelancers and companies to connect.
The internet has made it so that a freelancer doesn't have to contact company after company, or scour the newspaper classifieds, making multiple red circles that turn the page into a virtual tic-tac board. All you need is one browser window dedicated to eTEQ.com, where you can find work projects, bid on them, and be on your way to making the kind of money you always dreamed of. And for the multi-skilled, looking for work can feel like you're a kid in the candy store - why not try the marketing gig, and the programming project, and write that company's blog? Best of all, your fingers won't get dirty.
And where can you find work and where can you work from? Well, virtually anywhere. Bid on a project based in France while your're on the beach in Rio, win the project ofver afternoon tea, and finish the project before you're on the plane home. On eTEQ, the world is local - freelancers are global assets now as they apply their skills to various projects from numerous companies in multiple countries.
Companies benefit too. With talent accessible from around the world, it's much easier to match the right freelancer to each project. Some require a high level of skill, while others may not, and the bidding system also makes it easier to match the project budget with the talent. And the paperwork? What paperwork - everything is online so it's instantaneous, economical, and secure.
But what separates eTEQ.com from the rest of the pack is that it's free for all users. Why pay a premium just to search for work? Some may argue that a monthly fee filters out companies looking for cheap labor - but compromising the link between the worker and work is not the way of the freelancer. The way of the freelancer is to be availiable to all projects, to win them on common ground. Find out for yourself when you sign up on eTEQ today.
