I am SHOCKED! 1,835 word RESPONSE!

Oh wow! That's a lot to say on a single discussion. That's triple the size of an opinion column if I am not mistaken. The responder must have been very passionate about the subject. I have not come across that discussion yet and if I would, I probably would not finish reading it, like you I would have copied it in a word document to read at a later time. And no, I have never responded that long to a discussion.

Well it woukld have been nice if you had included the link to this discussion with such a long response. that is what makes a good quality filled discussion is a link added to this type of discussion. I can't belive this till I see it myself. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I appreciate long responses WHEN they have something beneficial to say and add to the discussion. This response is not only long, but it doesn't apply to the discussion. It is also a copy and paste.

Was it me? LOL As a mom of six children I tend to get wordy on parenting issues. I don't know that I've ever done anything THAT long but I very well may have, I don't pay attention to word count once I get going.

Hello Blk_princess! Thant is so funny...lol...I can't belive the extent some members would go to prove a point!...lol.. Nonetheless, we are all entitled to give our opinions here but to what length I really don't know! I too post long at times but no more than 200 words depending on my interest in the discussion. I feel that Myot should set a 300 word count limit. Especially to those who are over 500 and can cut and paste.

Nope, I have a hard enough time trying to respond with twenty five words nonetheless 1,000....lol... I too was shocked when I saw it and it took me over 15 minutes to read it all...lol..

I have gotten pretty wordy, but never that wordy before lol. Guess it depends on my mood, whether I'm feeling talkative or not, and my thoughts on the topic. Anyway, it's a shame that was cut and pasted, though I did see one almost as long (though not quite) in a thread I just posted to the other day. Granted, I didn't bother to take the time to see if it was copied, but looked legitimate. I think it's cool if people are genuine about the post, though too long can be a too much, even to the person who made the discussion, I would think.

Good grief! I wonder if it was copied and pasted from another website. A lot of mylotters seem to steal things from other people and sites. I hope they didn't think they were going make a whole lot from that. If I were the one who started the discussion, I don't think I could read the whole thing!

Wow that is LONG. I wouldn't have the time to write such a long reply. I wouldn't anyway as I would be afraid the person wouldn't read it because it was so long. I didn't read thru the replies you got already .... did you share where to find this enormous reply?
