Is this justify to label somebody Pass/Fail after a 2-3 Hour Written Exam???

Just see what type of system we are having. Every year we take or give 2-3 hours of exam and based on that exam somebody declares us Pass or fail. Is it justify to make such a statement? If not, then what sould be there to judge ones capabilities? What changes you want in the education policy or system?

I know what you are talking about, and i too would like to see another learning system that does not sum up with a 3 hours test that declares how good or bad you are .
I do think that if we choose to take the exam, a person has every right to label us as pass or fail in the exam, it is either we know the material or not.
But i would rather go on assignments and not tests, i think it really gives a better chance to learn and enjoy without being pressured and to show more creative sides of you.

Yes you are right. I also think in this way. I think it is the need of the hour to change this old system of Education otherwise it'll not produce Quality students or quality citizen. WE need a system that must help a student to bring his/her creativity out. Thankx for your comments.
