Which English footballer, according to you, has the best ball-skills ?

hmmm... i feel that those you have listed are all very different. my personal preferences would be Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard. Wayne Rooney has done pretty well in the club level.. hopefully he can do better in the international level.

The English footballer that has a best skills is Wayne Rooney and Aaron Lenon!I like to see their spontanous skills while their play in a big match, such as premier league match!The coming soon skill star will be Chris Eagle! I guess!

I think of the list that you have mentioned, Joe Cole is the only player in the world class bracket in terms of ball skills. Shaun Wright Phillips and Lennon are good as wingers, but that is more owing to their pace and slight build rather than their ball skills. Rooney and Gerrard are your muscle players who would barge into a defence and muscle their way through. In a sense they are true blue English players who prefer the long ball game. So I guess that leaves only Joe Cole in that skillset. The little that I have seen of Walcott, he also seems destined to be a great winger with pace, but the times that he has cut in, he does seem to have it in him to develop the ball skills. rooney and lennon have the quality to take on any defenders. lennon has the ball tricks and can do some exceptional things when the ball is under his feet.

I think lennon is gona be a star in a few years, i can see his potential, a very promising young player
