intially i really wanted an ending that would fit the whole story.. and it looked like harry must die because he is the last hocrux.. that would have been a very dramatic way to end the series.. but how JKR wrote the ending was also good.. harry and hermione never had a "chemistry" while ron and hermione were like cat and dog.. remember how pre-teens and teenager always pick fights with the one they like or had a crush on.. their relationship was more like that.. so it was no surprise that ron and hermione ended up together... :)

Dont be sad. He'll return in "The return of Harry Potter". Rowling cant afford to miss the fanfare she got.

Maybe she'll not use the same names and locations but she WILL definately revert again to writing a wizarding series.
She's good at that.

I think the author got it right. She gave the choice to Harry sorta to stay and move on to be with his loved ones or to go back and live with his new family and loved ones. And Hermione and him have never had that kind of connection. It would have been to wierd. It would have been like his parents. (his mom was exactly like Hermione). And Ginny had a thing for him and understood him like no other. So it fit. It ended good.

why blame the author, have you been reading the book well and how well everything fit into place??? jk is just great with the story, if you are not appreciating a world reknowned author then it's up to you, better not read the book anyway.... you will still end up being so such a critic
