Why do people need to lie?

You lie to keep yourself out of trouble, when you have lied to much, it becomes a habit. days after days, you start doing it subconsciously....

I have often wondered this, I know of people telling lies about silly things for no reason then down the track they forget what they have said to people and get caught out, the old saying that you need a good memory to be a good liar is so true...I don't lie for one reason it takes too much effort to remember and as I don't have a good memory it is just easier to tell the truth as another saying is The truth never changes.

is happen since first time human been created by GOD;) all people or humna maybe already lie for their self include me nothing we can do about this even we say i am a true man, i am a true girl..the different is which problem the lie can bring you big impact

I guess people need to lie when they want to protect themselves,when they want to avoid problems.there are several situations when is better to lie.but the problem comes when you lie as much as you forget what you have told to someone and he catches you lying

Sometimes you lie because you know that the person you're lying to will be hurt if he or she knows the truth...but of course, it's better to just blurt out the truth because no matter how much you want to protect anyone from a painful truth, he or she will know it sooner or later and he or she has to deal with it just the same. Besides he or she might get angry knowing that you lied to her.

Some people can't take the truth ,so better lie or not say anything at all.
