why does dad behave so differently?

i have a cousin living together with us now,his mama and dad have left our hometown to make a life.i like him very much.he is seven years old and really lovely. but what made me confused was that my dad seems dislike him. My dad is really a affable to me,but when he treated my cousin,he seems to have become another person.
well,i really don't know what to do.Help me.Thank you for your response!

Well,it just shows that your pop loves you so much that he cannot share his love with both you and your cousin.Maybe you will think your dad is a little selfish,no parents donnot love their offspring,which is normal and simple.In my opinion,you can have a patient talk to your pop and know what he thinks and reasons why he doesnot like your cousin if possible.Good luck!

Maybe your dad was not in full agreement of having your cousin there and maybe his pride is a little hurt and time might have to be the healer, hopefully your little cousin will not give up in trying to win him over, if he is such a nice little boy and your dad is a good king man they will win each other over, I hope so any way.
