My sister in law and I scrapbook and for my nephews 1st birthday a couple of weeks ago she took small pieces of cardstock and used them for everyone to sign in on. Each family or person signed one and sometime throughout the party everyone had their picture taken. When it is said and done she will put the pictures and cards together for his scrapbook.

I also took wrapping paper from a gift and placed it on a page. I then got a picture and put it on the page. I just need more pictured to finish the job. Wrapping paper and odds and ends areneat to work with.

Well I haven't done that before, but may I suggest that you take the cards that he recieves and paste them on a few pages of the scrapbook. If you have a digital camera, you could take pictures of the people who have signed the book or given him a gift with card so you can look back and put a face with the card or signature and he can see who you are talking about if the said person, happens to pass away before he really gets to know them. It makes it a whole lot more special. It is just a suggestion.

wow what a wonderful idea! I will pass this one along to my daughters and granddaughters! We have never thought of this. They do have those display a page shadow boxes too that something like that would be good in. If I think of an idea I'll let you know.
