Im attempting to do dinner hehe but i have a problem i cant work out how long it needs to cook for...
It's a stuffed sholder joint of pork and it say's on the packet 30mins per 500g plus 30min... The weight is 1.162Kg
can some one tell me how to work Grams in Kg i haven't got a clue...

1.162kg equals about 2.6 lbs.....that's not a big roast, at 350 degrees it shouldn't take more that an hour or so to fully cook. You can test it with a meat thermometer......in the center it should be at least 165 degrees to be safe. If you don't have one another way to test is to poke it in the thickest part and then press on it gently/moderately with a large serving fork, if the juices run clear (no color) it's done. This method works well for any meat from burgers to Thanksgiving turkeys.
