"BALUT" Fear Factor

A Philippine delicacy - This picture is what we call here in the Philippines as "BALUT". This is a duck egg with a duckling inside that is boiled. To eat it, just crack the egg shell and eat the entire content including the cooked duckling.

"Balut" is a Philippine delicacy that is so popular with a lot of Filipinos. But I can't really eat "Balut". I am just afraid of it. I remember when I was a Nursing student, I donated a blood then they give me 10 Balut. I don't want to accept it because I donated blood to help not for anything else. And most of all I do not eat "balut". Last night, my nephew brought home 2 "balut" for me. I gave it to my niece instead. And she loved it. I will never eat "balut"

me either, i dont eat balut.. my mom, my dad, my brother, my younger sister, they all eat balut.. and i can see them enjoying eating that thing.. i eat the yellow thing only and not the "sisiw".. but whenever i eat it, it made me a little drowsy.. eew.. lol.. happy posting! good night.
